DO YOU LIKE INDUSTRIAL MUSIC?

Hi all,

Insomnia has hit me so I thought I'd write out this stuff instead of having it churning around in my mind. Anyway...

Good news! I auditioned with an Industrial band "Amune System" on Saturday, and it worked out really well. They messaged me the next day asking me to be in the band, and since they're nice guys with cooool music, gigging regularly and recording an EP next week, I said yes.

The first gig I'll be playing with them should be Friday September 2nd, followed by a Battle of the Bands thing on September 14th. I'll get more details on when and where and such soon. You're going to come along, right? The style is a similar one to Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails. The lyrical content isn't quite as confonting as MM though. I'd presume a cover charge of something like $6-7 dollars too.

Probably most amusing to you all who know me is that I'm going to have to dress goth and wear makeup. I'm considering getting some sort of mask for the lower half of my face. Picturing a gas mask or a painters mask painted black or possibly something like Subzero's mask from Mortal Kombat. Sefie vetoed a gimp mask. ^^;

For this thing I have to learn six songs in the next two weeks, then another couple in the week after that. Doable, but I'll have to work hard! I have quality recordings of the basslines so it's all there for me to work on.
